Dear George, I think we're past the question "Why" and on to the really important things this past year has taught you. First of all, all the outpouring of love and support from every where in the world have come to you from perfect strangers like myself. You have touched each and every one of us in some way. We have gone about our daily lives and listened to your musical talent and you have become part of our lives.

When you experienced the recent deep humiliation, you told the truth instead of trying to lie. You showed you had the strength of character to be honest. The media has done it's best to make your daily life a circus. This will pass and a new chapter will open in your life. I think that I speak for a lot of people in wishing you peace in your future endeavors. You are, after all, a human being trying to live your life just like the rest of us. You are entitled to your personal life.

I hope that you are aware that a lot of us care about you. Call it random acts of kindness toward another who is in emotional crisis .. call it whatever comes to mind. It doesn't take a lot to reach out to someone, even though we have never met. You helped my daughter, Tara Faith, when she was in the hospital. You certainly didn't have to, but you took the time.
