George is obviously a very intelligent and insightful man who could have
chosen any profession. If he hadn't gone on to become a successful, talented
singer/songwriter/producer, what career do you think George might have pursued?
Due to his
interest in children's and humanitarian causes, I think George would have made an
excellent teacher/mentor. If that proved unlucky, however, a career as a male model or
stripper would have been just as applaudable.

Hey,
I'm a 19 years old girl from Croatia, I listen to George's music for 8 years now and I
find him the very best singer, producer, composer, ..ever, so it's pretty hard for me to
imagine him ( I think you are too ) to be anything else except being who he is today.
However, I
read somewhere that his parents own a restaurant, so maybe if he didn't proceed after his
talent, he might of been owner of this restaurant and successfully run it.

Okay guys,
I think he would have been ... an accountant. I know, I know, it's shocking but you're
stereotyping. Not all accountants are "bean counters, number crunchers or nerds {i.e.
the guy with the thick glasses in the Young Guns video}". Just think: if he was an
accountant wouldn't it be great to have him do the bookkeeping for you? An audit would
take on new meaning...Smile.

It's very
difficult imagining George doing something other than singing and writing.
I think
George would have chosen a career where he could have been creative and yet totally in
control of his surroundings. It would have been interesting if he would have been a
novelist because then he would have an outlet for his creativity and relative control over
his work. I know becoming a novelist would entail similar difficulties in attaining
success, but he would have been famous and not had to worry about people outside his door
waiting for an autograph or the tabloids endlessly critiquing his sex life.
George has
such a lovely way with words that I think he could have easily used his talents as a
novelist. And then we could have all listened to his beautiful voice on one of those books
on tape! :)

very clever man. A natural gift for music combined with a lot of work is his motto. He
