  1. 😐 I know how you feel…I was disappointed that he’s not here in Cleveland…I’m planning to head west to Chicago, as friends of mine are planning also; I think anyone from the midwest that really wants to see him, thats the only place to attend. There should have been one more city in the midwest.

  2. Yes, I’m from Michigan. Unfortunately, for very personal reasons, I can’t go to Chicago or even Toronto. When George Michael has toured, he has always stopped at Detroit. I have to admit I cried when I realized I’ve been running this site for 11 years with the hopes of seeing him in concert and maybe meeting him. And now I have nothing. No hope at all. 😥

  3. Melanie, I’m sure you’ve considered this, but what about St. Paul? Is that a possibility for you? Your last comment was so sad.

  4. I dont care where I have to go I want to see George Michael so bad he is my favorit and has been since the days of Wham.
If I can get tickets I will be there.
Thank you George for making the US as part of your tour.
Congratulations on your success and hope you have many more years of bring us such excellent music and talent.

  5. Melanie, so sorry you won’t be able to see George in a nearby city. This site is wonderful – and the new format is great. Thank you for your dedication to the site, to George and to his fans. Hopefully there will eventually be a concert you can attend. You deserve front row seats!

  6. wow, amazing news. Ok, I actually live in michigan as well, and was surprised to see detroit not on the list (hopefuly it is added later when the ticket sales come in, as I’m sure this is going to be huge).

At the moment, i’m studying abroad in japan, and i’ll be back july 29th… just in time to catch one of the final shows. Right now, my friends and I are thinking of taking a road trip to see gm for the georgia show 2 days after I return. I must see this man live, I have been waiting so long for this announcement. I just hope I am able to!

  7. Melanie…If anyone here deserves to go, its you. I’m new to your site, but I just love it. You said “very personal reasons,” I’m in Ohio, Cleveland to be exact, If I can help…we’re all strangers, yes; but also connected in a very special way; I’m sincere in what I say, Melanie…Maybe there is some hope.

  8. Melanie, you should get a lap dance from Yogi Bear 😎

Thank you very, very much !!!
I saw him ín London, total bliss!

    peace and love

  9. Hello Melanie 😐

    You should NEVER loose hope.
If GM can’t make it to your town, you should seriously consider the alternatives. LA 😀 NY 😀 or any other city he’s touring. I’ll be Praying you find a way to see GM, Good Luck!! 😉

  10. wow, who knew michigan was home to so many die-hard fans!? and i thought there was no one for miles all those years 🙂

  11. Hi. Thanks for all your words of encouragement. I’ve just had a couple of rough months and now not being able to see George Michael in concert is very disappointing. I’ve had to make a decision that is best for my family, and I’ve accepted that the only way for me to see him in concert this year is if he adds a date in/near Detroit.

  12. If George is concerned about it not selling out in Detroit atleast consider Grand Rapids/Vand Andel George its a smaller arena and 10 minutes from my house. 🙂

  13. I’m from IL, but will be in LA on vacation during that time, but I’m thinking I can swing a flight to another city before/after my trip. I always said I’d fly anywhere to see him if he came to the US! Could never afford to fly to Europe last year
I’m SO HAPPY TO find this out today!
    🙂
    Danielle

  14. Melanie,

I too also live in the midwest, Cleveland to be exact and I plan on going to the Chicago concert. I want to thank u for the great web site you have provided for so many years.

  15. hi i have loved George for 25 years and i saw him on the cover to cover tour it was the happiest day of my life! I dont have the funds to see him this time cause my husband has not worked for a year! Im just sick inside and cry dailly knowing that i cant be a part of this amazing tour! Im finding it so hard to deal with! I live in Ohio and simply cant travel 6 hours or more to see him! Im happy hes comming here so others can enjoy him but i feel so lost ugh! Its hard when i see other fans so excited counting down days till they see him and here i sit praying for a miracle so i can go too! I love this site i visit it alot im glad us fans have places like this to come to! God bless ya all xxxxxxxxxxxxxx

  16. Joshlyn, I’m so sorry you won’t be able to see George Michael on tour either. Although our situations are different, our sadness is the same. 😥

  18. I’m doing my best to get to NYC for one of the Madison Gardens show.

    And I’m from Australia!!!

It would be the experience of a lifetime, and I’ll find out this week if I’m off to NYC to see George live.

    Here’s hoping ….

  19. 🙂 Glad to hear that GM will be touring the US again. I had a fabulous time seeing him in Orlando back in 1988- what a great performer and I can’t wait to see his show in Tampa. I was a little disappointed that his tour didn’t include Jacksonville, FL, as we have a wonderful new Veteran’s Arena that he would sound great in and would be a closer shot for me…Oh well..I’m just glad to be able to see him in concert again before mid-age. Thanks George and best wishes for your tour- stay safe.

  20. I was shocked not to see Detroit or anywhere in Michigan on the list! I saw him years ago and he is great in concert. I was looking for a contact site to see if there was a possibility of a concert being added later.

  21. Hi Colleen. They did just add a date in Anaheim, California; it was announced just a month out from the concert date. I still hope he adds Detroit as I can’t go unless he does. Believe me, if he adds a date in Detroit, I’ll be the first to post it!
