iCHAT with Andreas Georgiou and Shirlie Kemp
Unfortunately, your News Flash editor missed most of the iCHAT with Andreas Georgiou

to be there for the chat.
- George is in Los Angeles.
- There will be a new single in September.
- George is supposed to make an appearance at iCHAT in a few weeks.
- The tour will begin in 1999.
- Someone asked Mr. Georgiou what his favorite sites were, and he said GNOTES and Yours
Only George. (We are so thrilled and flattered to know that!)
ĘGEAN Letter from the Editor
In this week's ĘGEAN.NET Letter from the Editor,
President Andreas Georgiou said that they will finish Trigger's album and dedicate it to

will be redesigning the front page of the AEGEAN site in the next few weeks. The Members
Online area is also being redesigned. He also said that they will be adding a new audio
software to the site. They are producing radio shows at the moment.

iCHAT
The rescheduled iCHAT with Shirlie was a fabulous experience for the 15 or so people
who came to it. Even Michelle popped in for a moment! If you missed it, here is a little
bit of what you would have heard:
- When asked who was in the office, Shirlie wrote that "David, Andros, Bob,Cris,
Mich, and ??????" were in the office. We can only assume that George was the man in
"question". :)
- Shirlie said George was busy writing.
- Shirlie said that she sees Pepsi all the time and will ask her to do a chat with us.

held on Thursday, March 12, at 4 p.m. GMT (which is 11 a.m. EST). Since iCHAT wasn't

lengthy appearance. If you missed it, here area few bits of information from the chat:
- Shirlie said George surfs the Web a few hours a day.
- Shirlie said George is currently recording in England.
- Shirlie said she knows French.

iCHAT
ĘGEAN.NET has opened its new iCHAT section. There
are various rooms to visit. You may need the plug-in in order to chat, but we had no
problem just using our java-enabled browsers. It's a truly great chat! There is also talk
that there will be an official ĘGEAN.NET chat next Wednesday (March 11th) at 5 p.m. GMT.
ĘGEAN.NET is proving to be the best place on the 'Net for George fans.

Members Online
George has written a new letter for the members of Members Online. It is currently
exclusive to the Members Online area, but it will be published eventually for everyone to
see. In the letter, George says he's glad that Members Online is running, and he says he
is impressed by the LiquidAudio features of the website. He also said he is surprised that
Older and Upper will not be released by DreamWorks or Virgin International. If
you want the double CD, he suggests visiting the Trading Post at ĘGEAN.NET. Last, George says he is working on the
Greatest Hits CD that is scheduled for release later this year and he says he is
"concentrating on writing those new tunes."
The George Michael Greatest Hits Competition is now open in the Members Online area.
The contest entails listing the songs for the Greatest Hits so that they will match
George's list in both content and order. The winner will be brought to the ĘGEAN offices
for a day in the summer. They list 35 songs and say to add any songs that you feel should
be on the Greatest Hits collection. So, if you're a member of Members Online, start
picking 22 songs that you think will be on the Greatest Hits CD. The competition ends June
30, 1998.
