Here is a positive review of “Eli Stone” from someone who has seen the pilot: Strike TV: “Lost”, “Eli Stone”, “Law & Order” are Scripted Bright Spots<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

… premiere of Eli Stone<\/em>, a super new drama series from Greg Berlanti (Everwood, Brothers & Sisters<\/em>) about a successful attorney at a cutthroat law firm who begins to experience life-changing visions. I saw the first cut of the pilot for this show last spring and thought at the time that it was the second best freshman show of the 2007-08 season (after Pushing Daisies<\/em>). ABC chose not to schedule it last September, but the fall’s loss is the spring’s gain. If the overall quality of its pilot holds up, Eli<\/em> will do much to help fans of scripted programming through the prolonged ordeal of the strike.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

(On a side note, I read at an “Eli Stone” unofficial forum that the pilot had been leaked to the Internet.  Has anyone seen it?)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Eli Stone is the story of a lawyer who suddenly starts to have hallucinations … of George Michael. It starts out with George Michael singing “Faith” on his coffee table. What’s so fun about the first season of this television show is that George Michael makes multiple appearances. All of the show titles are George Michael or Wham! songs, and many of the musical numbers are also George Michael songs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Eli Stone stars Jonny Lee Miller, Natasha Henstridge, Loretta Devine, Matt Letscher, Sam Jaeger, and Victor Garber.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
