My Dear Fans,
As usual I am overwhelmed by the support and genuine concern that so many of you around the world have expressed in recent weeks. I want to thank you all sincerely, and also to reassure those of you who worry so much for me. I fully appreciate the seriousness of my current situation, for which I truly apologise.
You will understand that it would be wrong of me to go into details before the court case has ended but I feel you should know that on the day after the incident I checked in to a clinic for a 14 day detox program here in London, which has been followed by ongoing outpatient drug counselling several times a week. Personal problems which I had tried to deal with myself had clearly got the better of me, and I am sorry that my pride has prevented me from seeking help before now.
I would also like to express my thanks to those whose discretion allowed me to begin this process in private, which has helped me greatly.

Hooray! Way to go! This is cause for celebration-I’m going out for cocktails! Don’t apologize for having personal problems. George, I don’t think you’ll ever know how much your work has impacted me and helped me through a personal crisis and the most difficult time in my life. It was very bad and I fought so, so hard to get past it. I wanted to tell you at a party during your 2008 tour but someone very close to you wouldn’t even let me say hi. Yes, I was very sad (you may have noticed) and thought that’s life and if it is meant to be and you want to know than someday the opportunity will present itself. You’re just too famous:) So I am here to support you – cheer you on. Glad you’re taking care of this business and getting this behind you so you can move on to more exciting “other business”. Take care, take care!

So many times I have thought of what it would be like to meet you, the time and devotion that you have put into your songs have as well seen me through some tough times . The only things that I know I can say I truly understand with you is the pain of losing people in life, losing family. This I do completly share with you. But I truly worry about you and pray for you daily, I love your music, but Your life is worth more than if you ever make another record. I want to know your ok,and taking care of yourself even if I shall never have the chance to meet you or not than to hear of something very tragic happening to you. This I do not think I could take. Please take care of yourself and I hope you get the personal problems whatever they may be and that is your business and no one elses even to speculate about. If you take the time to really find the thorn in your side and you get it removed once and for all you will come back full of mind body and soul that the whole world will see and perhaps a few songs! I’m glad to see that you have taken the first step to recovery. Although we all have personal problems, we all deal with them in different ways. It may not be easy, but you will come away from it better than ever I’m sure. Congratulations on finding the strengh and courage to move forward. Please know that we as fans love and support you. U don’t have to explain your self. But this last incident was a shocker!
