George Michael’s childhood friend David Austin has a Twitter account where he is posting positive updates on George. (Thanks for the info to Lizzy.) The latest for today is:
The update is that it is all moving in the right direction and Yog is as he has been improving day by day. The doctors are very happy.xx

Are you sure this is a genuine account from the real David Austin ? No one else seems to be taking it as face value valid. He shouldn’t be speaking to the press if there is a gag order, anyway.
I have asked Shirlie, and she is trying to find out if it is really David Austin or not.
I thought it was David_Austin that had been confirmed and not DavidxAustin (not sure why George still follows this..). But anyway, Fadi has unlocked his twitter account to allow for
to let us know that George is progressing very well (apparently) without taking it to the media against patient’s wishes.

I’m pretty sure @david__austin is David Austin’s account. Also he tweets with someone from the crew as well(who writes updates too). Indeed @davidxaustin is obviously a fake. Maybe GM started to follow that account to see what rubbish this person writes. And it’s really nice of DA and Fadi to let us all know how it’s all going with GM(and DA is very good with responding to tweets). Quite clearly you just cannot rely on what’s written in the newspapers.
