The Unofficial Etiquette Guide for George Michael: The Faith Tour Film

With George Michael: The Faith Tour hitting theaters worldwide on November 4, 2026, (and December 11, 2026, in the US), George Michael’s Lovelies are preparing for what is essentially a concert … disguised as a movie … disguised as an excuse to wear your vintage Faith t-shirt.

Let’s be honest: this is the closest we’re going to get to being at a George Michael concert. Expect full concert energy. Expect lots of emotions. Expect fans not knowing whether to mouth all the lyrics and shift awkwardly in their seats or belt out the lyrics and rush to the front of the theater. So, for fun, let’s talk about it.

Will Fans Be Singing?

Yes. Of course. Would we seriously keep quiet while George wants us to sing “Faith” for him? No doubt, we will start out mouthing the words and end up singing along.

Is Dancing Acceptable or Too Much?

Seat-dancing is recommended, at least at the beginning. I can’t imagine standing up to dance, unless the entire theater is in agreement. Go with the flow and try not to block the view for other fans.

Should Fans Wear Vintage T-shirts or New Ones?

If you still have your Faith era t-shirt, definitely wear it. If you have a new George Michael shirt, definitely wear it. There is no wrong George Michael shirt to wear ever, although I would hesitate to wear the I Want Your Sex t-shirt to school events. “Choose Life” shirts are cool too.

Do you want to go dressed as George Michael with leather jacket, sunglasses and cross earring? Go for it!

As for me, I contemplated wearing a YOGworld.com t-shirt to see if anyone would know who I am!
