Lot # 100. George Michael’s Owned and Stage-Worn Faith Tour Ray-Ban 50 Sunglasses, 1988
The iconic Ray-Ban sunglasses worn during the Faith video and Faith tour in 1988 are instantly recognizable. According to the auction site, this set of sunglasses was one of eight sets acquired for the Faith Tour in 1988.
A pair of Ray-Ban 50 sunglasses owned and worn by George Michael during his Faith World Tour. Following the release of his 1987 worldwide No. 1 single “Faith”, Michael reinvented his image, moving away from his bubbly Wham! persona in favour of a tougher, rock-and-roll aesthetic that defined his solo career.

The sunglasses formed a key part of that iconic look. Michael wore Ray-Ban 50s alongside his custom “Rockers BSA Revenge” leather jacket, ripped Levi’s jeans and silver-tipped cowboy boots in the “Faith” music video and throughout the 109-date Faith World Tour, making the sunglasses one of the most recognisable accessories associated with the era.
Believed to be one of only eight pairs acquired for the tour, this pair was donated by Michael to benefit the ITV Telethon ’88 charity auction and is accompanied by a “Faith George Michael” letter of authenticity confirming they were worn during the tour. Sunglasses with such direct provenance are exceptionally rare.
Currently, the estimated auction price for this piece of George Michael history is £15,000 – £30,000, with the current bidding at £12,000. Bidding for this lot will end on Thursday, October 1, 2026.
The 25 Live Era: The Elegant Emporio Armani Suit
Lot # 101. George Michael’s 25 Live Tour Black Emporio Armani Suit
Almost two decades after Faith, George Michael returned to the concert stage with 25 Live. The black Emporio Armani suit represents the mature and refined George.
A black Emporio Armani two-piece suit worn by George Michael during his acclaimed 25 Live Tour, a global series of 106 performances celebrating the artist’s 25-year career. The tour included Michael’s landmark concert on 9 June 2007, the first live performance held at the newly rebuilt Wembley Stadium. A letter of authenticity from Robobuild Limited confirms that Michael purchased suits of this type for both stage performances and personal use, with selected examples later donated for charity auction.

The suit comprises a black wool jacket and trousers with rayon lining. The jacket features three front buttons, three-button cuffs and welt pockets. Both garments retain interior Emporio Armani labels, and “2nd” is handwritten in black ink inside the trouser waistband. The lot displays minor marks and light pulls, resulting in small holes in places, and the lower front button is partially broken. The lot is accompanied by a letter of authenticity from Robobuild Limited, signed by a representative of the George Michael Estate.
Currently, the estimated auction price for this piece of George Michael history is £2,500 – £5,000, with the current bidding at £1,400. Bidding for this lot will end on Thursday, October 1, 2026.
