During the recent promotion for George Michael: The Faith Tour film, longtime friend and collaborator David Austin confirmed that there are three original George Michael songs, two of which are ballads. The only other posthumous release of new material was “This Is How (We Want You to Get High)” which was released in 2019 as part of the Last Christmas (ad) movie.
David Austin said, “We’ve got three finished, unheard George Michael masters, tracks finished. And two of them are ballads, and the two ballads are extraordinary. Mixed, mastered, produced, arranged, written by George.”
While fans anxiously await the release of the three songs, George’s online presence has expanded on YouTube.
