George Michael has asked for permission to remove a verandah in his back garden which he says robs his ground-floor breakfast room of valuable light, according to Superstar George’s plea for more sun.
The home is double-fronted and boasts a library, guest rooms and quarters for a live-in house keeper. The shelter which is a relatively new addition to the home, which dates from the late-1700s, also provides an extended balcony the singer can get to from double doors from his first-floor sitting room. It would be completely removed.
