From Michael taking legal action over prison claims:
“Much as I would prefer to rise above the usual rubbish that I’m reading day after day about my time here in prison, I think it’s only fair to my fans, family and friends to respond in some way, even though I will be home soon.
“Please believe me when I tell you that in the last three weeks there have been no tears, no anxiety, no bullying, in fact not so much as a sleepless night for me. On the contrary, I have been treated with kindness by fellow in-mates and prison staff alike and as far as I can tell, have received no special treatment of any kind whatsoever.
“Most of my days have been spent reading thousands of letters and postcards of incredible support from people around the world. I promise to repay their kindness with new music as soon as I possibly can, and as far as running around this place “naked” and “drunk” on “Hooch” with an inmate for a bodyguard, let’s just say that the Sunday Mirror will be hearing from my lawyers very shortly. With Love always, George Michael.”

The statement is little bit reassuring…
It is good to know that all this support from fans really gets directly to George, as it feels he actually gains some extra strength from it.
It is important he knows, in such a difficult for him time, people’s hearts and warm thoughts are with him.
As for legal actions, the court cases are always nerve-wrecking, so I am not sure that tabloids are really worth it…
But on the other hand, George hasn’t been defending himself, and many tabloids have become braver and more and more nasty and insultive towards him in recent years. They seem to be thinking they are untouchable, so maybe it is time to “sort them out”. I wouldn’t forget about The Sun here…
Anyway, whatever George decides, he will be home soon, and I wish he will find there enough support to get over this prison nightmare quickly.
I also wish that people and the papers will give George a break – that space he needs, to relax his mind a bit, to be able to take a real care of himself, to be able to concentrate on positive things, and to enjoy brighter and happier days in the future.
